The ninth Provincial Workshop on Visibility and Prevention of Violence for the Development of a Culture of Peace will take place on November 16. The meeting will be organized by the University of Matanzas, the SoLuna project and the gender chair, under the auspices of the Faustino Pérez University Hospital.
The purpose is to discuss and exchange experiences between professionals, students and families in general to prevent violence in its different manifestations and move towards a culture of peace. The workshop will include lectures by specialists in the fields of health, psychology and education.
In addition, the participants’ presentations will be grouped by commissions to address topics such as respectful parenting, feminism and gender, violence and its manifestations, family law and digital violence.
Those interested in participating must send an abstract of 100 to 250 words specifying the topic to be discussed, objective, results and considerations. Individual works or works by up to 3 authors will be accepted.
