Credit and Commerce Bank in Matanzas celebrates 27 years serving the people

The Banco de Crédito y Comercio (BANDEC) collective in the province of Matanzas will celebrate its 27th anniversary with a trade fair on November 15.

The delivery of magnetic cards, multi-banking, generation of pins and advice on the use of electronic payment channels are some of the services that the population will have access to at this fair outside all bank branches.

As part of the celebrations, workers with more than 5 years of experience in the sector will receive recognition for their work and contribution to the development of banking services in the territory.

“This has been a year of hard work and outreach to the people, especially in the process of banking, which has required a greater effort because we have had to draw up strategies in the development of digital banking,” explained the provincial director of Bandec, Yanetsy Chávez Camaraza.

Bandec expands its areas of action to different scenarios such as commercial and agricultural fairs on weekends, companies and projects in connection with the Scientific and Technological Park of the University of Matanzas and the Self-Service Stations.

“We have also made progress in the delivery of financing to the state and non-state sector with priority in food production, promoting financing also to the sugar sector and thus with the different segments of the economy,” added Chávez Camaraza.

The workers of the Credit and Commerce Bank in Matanzas arrive at this anniversary with the commitment to continue advancing in the banking of society. To date, 572,308 magnetic cards and 227,823 multi-bank cards have been delivered. Among the challenges for next year is the promotion of products and services focused on biodiversity through green banking.
