The first secretary of the Party in Matanzas, Susely Morfa González, together with the governor in the province, Mario Sabines Lorenzo, presided over the analysis of the strategy in different productive sectors of the municipality of Colón, among which agriculture and sugar are fundamental for economic and social development.
Insufficient results are still shown in programmes aimed at meeting the demands of the population. Agriculture, with a new agricultural enterprise, should pay special attention to the cold sowing season, substitute imports, promote exports and increase land delivery.
It was called to work on savings, quality of services and social care, and stressed that the contribution of each agency in this contingency stage is vital to the common objective of seeking alternatives. (ALH)
