The Ministry of Higher Education (MES) reported that on January 9, 11, and 13, the special call for Higher Education entrance exams was held, with Mathematics, Spanish, and History, for those applicants who did not take the exams. the ordinary for extremely justified reasons.
According to the Granma newspaper, the process for granting careers and training programs at the short-cycle Higher Education level will be similar to the previous course, with a first placement for applicants who will obtain a minimum of 60 points.
The second will appear for students who have failed, the third for pre-university students who did not take the entrance exams, and the fourth for graduates of technical-professional education and the Facultad Obrero Campesina, the text added.
The MES specified that the 2022 admission plan offers 103,008 places distributed depending on the type of course.
Of the total, 53,263 are for the regular daytime course, of which 40,905 are for university courses and 12,358 for the short cycle; 44,325 for the course by meetings and 5,500 for distance education.
The ordinary call for these exams, corresponding to the 2022 academic year, was held on November 15, 18 and 22 throughout the country. (ALH)
