Dengue continues to be the focus of attention for political, government and health authorities in Cárdenas, where there is a high risk of transmission.
Adverse factors include the high number of houses closed during the fumigation, unsanitary situations in neighborhoods and workplaces, rain and high temperatures and carelessness in homes that can lead to Aedes Aegypti breeding sites.
Given this scenario and the high rate of unspecific febrile cases in the municipality, the population has been called to take extreme measures to eradicate the foci of the vector throughout the territory.
