During the first half of the year, the municipality of Cárdenas largely complied with the rescue plan for sites, areas and buildings as part of the local development program.
This is how the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the assaults on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes barracks arrives with new facilities and several restored works of education, health, commerce and services.
Likewise, progress is being made in local development projects and important sectors fulfill their economic and productive commitments. It was for this reason that during the celebration of the act for the day of national rebellion, several entities and organizations with meritorious results to date were distinguished.
In the activity carried out in areas of the monumental complex to the flag, a group of fighters of the revolution were honored, among them members of the rebel army.
The occasion was opportune to deliver the card of the party and the UJC to 70 militants who recently joined both vanguard political organizations.
The 1st secretary of the communist party in the municipality, Zaid Díaz Méndez, stressed that despite the adversities, the Cardenenses demonstrated a fighting spirit and commitment to continue the materialization of social projects that ensure improvements for the working people and society in general.
