The Matanzas women from the Federation arrived at the Casas de Cultivos Protegidos (Protected Crop Houses) Base Business Unit of the Vladimir Ilich Lenin Agricultural Company in Jovellanos to support food production in the area.
The productive day is part of the activities to celebrate the 64th anniversary of the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC). Workers from different sectors of the province who systematically promote this task also participated.
During an event chaired by Osmaida Hernández Beleño, Member of the FMC National Secretariat, they recognized the outstanding municipalities in the emulation, where the Jovellanos territory received the status of National Vanguard.
In the presence of the member of the Provincial Bureau of the Party in Matanzas, Ramón Gómez Medina, and the Governor, Marieta Poey Zamora, they entertained organizations and women who maintain an active participation in the organization’s tasks
The Secretary General of the Provincial Bureau of the Federation of Cuban Women, Odalys García Pérez, received recognition from the people of Matanzas for her 20 years of uninterrupted work in the FMC.
The women of Matanzas salute the 64th anniversary of the Federation of Cuban Women as a National Outstanding Province for its results in social impact activities and the hospitality of political and mass organizations that also recognize its actions during the period. (ALH)
