A regrettable mass accident occurred on Friday night in Camagüey, resulting in two deaths and several injuries, according to Yahily Hernández Porto, correspondent for Juventud Rebelde, from her Facebook account.
At the Manuel Ascunce Domenech Provincial Hospital, 53 adults are receiving medical attention, Gladys Dailyn Morera Cordero, reporter for Radio Cadena Agramonte, reported on the same social network.
Seven of the injured are minors who are receiving medical assistance at the Pediatric Hospital of Camagüey and are not in danger of death, five are in the operating room and two in the intermediate room.
The report adds that the accident occurred between two buses, one from Manzanillo, Granma, and another from Camagüey.
The political and local government authorities of Camagüey are at the scene of the events and in the hospitals.
