They celebrate anniversaries of the UJC and the OPJM

The political-cultural act in greeting to the 61st anniversaries of the Union of Young Communists and 62nd of the José Martí Pioneers Organization took place in the Parque de la Libertad in the city of Matanzas.

As part of the celebrations, the Provincial Committee of the Communist Party and the UJC recognized cadres with more than five years of uninterrupted work at the service of these organizations in the province.

The Government, the Central de Trabajadores Cuba, the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution and other political and mass organizations in the territory also paid homage to the work of the youth and the pioneers within the framework of the activities for their anniversaries.

A representation of the movement of amateur artists from the University of Matanzas and other music-dance groups from the province performed for the people of Matanzas on the night of celebrations.

The event was presided over by the first secretary of the Party in the province, Susely Morfa González, and the highest authorities of the organizations in the territory. (ALH)
