The Spanish airline World2Fly operated by the Iberostar group restarts operations at the Juan Gualberto Gómez International Airport of Varadero.
In a flight of the Airbus 350 aircraft, more than 400 passengers arrive at the Matanzas resort from Lisbon, where the Iberian company has a subsidiary.
The Lisbon-Varadero trips will continue until the end of October with a weekly frequency every Saturday. This is the first flight of the current season, the second with the presence of this destination in the Yumurina airport terminal.
As part of the reopening, two aircraft arrived at the airport of the Matanzas resort.
The second one belongs to the Orbest company, whose representative in Cuba is the Cubanacán group. Said operator will maintain these air routes throughout the summer season. (ALH)
