The kids of the elementary school in the Narvaez Street, in the city of Matanzas, enjoined there of the Group Corn, in honor to our apostle Jose Marti in the 128 anniversary of his fall in combat.
Led by the president of the UNEAC from Matanzas, the award-winning writer José Manuel Espino, they commemorated the national date with the participation of poets and oral narrators.
Espino pointed out that it is a reading of Martí texts dedicated to children, a national activity within the Poetry Festival, with the title A trio of poems for Martí.
The little ones sat in that beautiful environment of Paseo San Juan to listen and share texts by our National Hero, a unique opportunity to meet the children of Matanzas with the immense tenderness of José Martí, an exponent of the most beautiful and pure literature for the childhood.» (ALH)
