During the 2023 Annual Work Review of the Institute of Information and Social Communication, which is currently taking place in the Havana Capital, the Management of Cuban Radiodecided to give its greatest recognition «The microphone of Cuban Radio️» to the loving mother and grandmother, passionate journalist, committed radio journalist and dedicated leader, Odalys Oriol Miranda Suárez who currently works as Provincial Director of the Radio in Matanzas.
Without a doubt she deserved recognition that in the words of gratitude from Oriol Miranda herself, she expressed «… there are all those who follow me in all my battles…»
The Cuban Radio Microphone is the highest recognition given by Radio in Cuba and the professionals and technicians who have dedicated their lives to the development and amplification of one of the most popular broadcast media in the world are deserving of such a high distinction.
This award, established in 1992, is therefore the award for the committed and daily work of this outstanding radio journalist who has known how to bequeath and imbue an excessive drive to Radio Matancera in order to convert sounds into true images with the aim of maintaining audiences always satisfied in defense of our national identity.
