With joy reflected on their faces for having achieved an important step in life, thirteen nursing graduates and 16 surveillance and anti-vector control technicians received their graduate degrees from the Doctor Eusebio Hernández Medical Sciences Branch, in Colón.
In the act carried out in the amphitheater of the General Teaching Hospital Doctor Mario Muñoz Monroy, they recognized students with satisfactory results during the years of study of the career.
In average technician, the most outstanding graduate was Naidelys Ulacia Calzadilla, and among the graduates, Cristian Rodríguez Martínez; in teaching María Karla Martín Cabrera; in culture Jorge Daniel Tamayo Pino and as an outstanding leader of the Federation of High School Students (Feem) Yankiel García Collazo.
The delivery of the diplomas, the oath of graduates, the words of thanks from the teachers and parents and the placement of the cap on the new nurses were also emotional.
The cultural presentation with the troubadour Yasniel Beltrandes and the Musicaribe’ dance company was a gift for the graduates. (ALH)
