Based at the Argelio Zamora Torriente Educational Institution, during the first day there was a plenary session: conception of ideological political work in the current scenario and its treatment from the Methodological Work System at each management level, presented by the general deputy directors of education in Jagüey Grande Marisneli Almenares Rosales and Ana Hernández González.

During the plenary, issues related to ideological political work, gender strategy, cultural colonization and the nutritional plan were addressed; Subsequently, commissions were organized for each educational level to debate the topics presented.

The opening of the Municipal Preparation Seminar for the 2023-2024 academic year in Jagüey Grande was chaired by Iván Martínez Izquierdo, first secretary of the municipal Party committee, Sunami García Quintero, member of the PCC municipal committee that attends to the social sphere, and María Julia Pérez Medina , municipal director of education.
