He emphatically urged to take advantage of every bit of land in order to increase and diversify their productions.

In this sense, authorities from the Vladimir Ilich Lenin Agricultural Company explained the installation and assembly of two covered warehouses that will be used for planting seedlings and drying various species.

Currently, the Jovellanense Medicinal Plants Farm has a total area of ​​15 arable hectares and its productions are already chained and distributed to various provinces of the country, taking into account the priority given to the development and generalization of Natural and Traditional Medicine (NTM).

During his tour, Machado Ventura criticized the existence of idle lands near the Farm, for which he called for the adoption of measures in order to reverse this situation.

Widely aware of the benefits and uses of (MNT) the also Doctor and Commander of the Revolution was interested in the productive chains, the commercialization and the different ways by which a greater export of what is cultivated here can be achieved.

The origin of (MNT) made Machado Ventura himself see, it is intimately linked with the history of man in his struggle for survival, hence the different modalities of it offer great potential to current medicine, especially when it constitutes one more treatment alternative for different diseases. Acompañado de la miembro del Comité Central del Partido Comunista de Cuba y primera Secretaria en Matanzas, Susely Morfa González, Mario Sabines Lorenzo, Gobernador de la Provincia, otras autoridades partidistas, gubernamentales, del Ministerio de Salud Pública, así como del sector de la agricultura, Machado Ventura conoció de los  palpables resultados de esta finca.

Instó de forma enfática a aprovechar cada pedacito de suelo en aras de incrementar y diversificar sus producciones.

En tal sentido autoridades de la Empresa Agropecuaria Vladimir Ilich Lenin explicaron de la instalación y montaje de dos naves de tapado que se destinarán a la siembra de posturas y secado de varias especies.

Actualmente la Finca de Plantas Medicinales jovellanense cuenta con un área total de 15 hectáreas cultivables y su producciones ya se encadenan y distribuyen a varias provincias del país teniendo en cuenta la prioridad concebida al desarrollo y la generalización de la Medicina Natural y Tradicional (MNT).

Durante su recorrido Machado Ventura criticó la existencia de tierras ociosoas aledañas a la Finca, por lo que llamó a la adopción de medidas en aras de revertir tal situación.

Amplio conocedor de los beneficios y usos de la (MNT) el también Médico y Comandante de la Revolución se interesó por los encadenamientos productivos, la comercialización y las diferentes vías por las cuales se puede alcanzar una mayor exportación de lo que aquí se cultiva.

El origen de la (MNT) hizo ver el propio Machado Ventura, está íntimamente unido con la historia del hombre en su lucha por la supervivencia, de ahí que las diferentes modalidades de la misma ofrecen grandes potencialidades a la medicina actual, sobre todo cuando constituye una alternativa más de tratamiento para diferentes enfermedades.
