The amigurumis, figures realized starting of the crochet technique, it have its Asiatic origin and arrives to Matanzas from the hand of Yoanna and Hendrick

The idea was born after of the second pregnancy of Yoanna, wen she visited a consult of pregnant woman and appear a doll with similar characteristic to the amigurumis.

«I take the doll to mi house and i toll to mi husband that i want to make it up. We don not now how to do it and we seek for internet. We thought that was two needles, but it was on crochet», explain Yoanna Martinez Perez.

Her interest led her to retrace the way of the knitting again and rescue that tradition instilled by her grandma wen she was young, with her husband learned the confection of the amigurumis, of which she feel a great passion.

«We rise in the pandemic stage, were they did not exist toys. We never thought that it have that acceptation, no matter the edge. This is a national product with a own seal and that give the posibilite of realized that the client want. As a example I can quote of a Chevrolet Car, that acquired that investigate the characteristic of this model», express Hendrick Rivero Bermudez. 

Hendrick, young engineer, change his profession and today don not only weaves, well he designs the patterns that take life. Points how much its help his formation in the perception of the form, the volume, the scale to realized this kind of job.

The projects do not stop to this young couple that retrace the ways of the confection of amigurumis. Little cutie reflect the passion for this kind of knitting that, according to specialist, transmit feeling of love and confidence.
