Dania Hernández León, presidenta del Consejo Electoral Municipal, señaló que con total apego a la Ley Electoral cubana, iniciaron hoy los comicios en el territorio.

«La prueba dinámica efectuada el pasado domingo sirvió para comprobar no solo los aseguramientos, sino los conocimientos de las autoridades electorales. En esta jornada histórica abrieron sin contratiempos los 134 colegios, con más de 44 mil votantes inscritos».

Hernández León explicó que los candidatos deben obtener más del 50% de los votos válidos emitidos para ser elegidos como diputados a la Asamblea Nacional del Poder Popular.

«Los candidatos son representantes del pueblo, elegidos por y para el pueblo», sentenció.
