Una nota de prensa del Ministerio de Cultura destaca en ese sentido el pesar y el impacto que genera la triste noticia en el sector de los creadores de la isla.

Ese proyecto de Correa y su familia, destaca la nota, «ha contribuido y contribuye a la formación e integración de las nuevas generaciones, enfocados en un estilo de trabajo que prioriza el valor del recurso natural y ecológico».

El Ministerio de Cultura reconoce que con Héctor Correa «aprendimos que la tierra tiene mucho que darnos y enseñarnos. Que la historia de la cultura mundial tiene mucho que enseñarnos».

De ingeniero agrónomo, a artesano y artista, a actor económico fundamental en su terruño, fue constancia de que se puede hacer una cultura y producción sostenibles.
