With the reason of the anniversary 60 of the creation of the General Customs of the Republic of Cuba, the freedom square takes the flag of the 60 detachment Matanzas Customs.

After depositing a floral offering to the National Hero, the Head of the General Customs of the Republic, Colonel Nelson Cordobés Reyes, delivered the 60th Anniversary flag to the Yumurino detachment.

At the end of the act, the detachment moved to the Sauto Theater, a National Monument, where they exchanged experiences with former State Security agents and appreciated the documentary Corazón de fuego, produced by TV Yumurií, which narrates the events of the fire that occurred in the City Supertanker Base.

Subsequently, the Socialist Customs Detachment 60 visited the Enrique Estrada Fire Museum, where they held a minute of silence as a sign of respect for those who died in the recent incident.

As part of the activities for the anniversary, the delegation contemplates a visit to Fidel’s Command in the Australia sugar mill, and to places of general interest in the Ciénaga de Zapata. (ALH)
