According to García, «Lost Time» is an interpretation of time that will not return, a creative exercise with my children, and the intention is to continue the series until the children are of legal age, and narrate individual memories that can also be those of many other people”.

He explained that the documentary book presented includes a dozen images and the result encourages him a lot considering that the IPA contest is a very prestigious contest, which broadens the visibility of the work and the connections in the art world.

He reported that in this edition, the jury judged more than 14 thousand applications from 120 countries to select the winners of the categories, that compete to receive the two main prizes of the IPA: Photographer of the Year for the professional categories and Discovery of the Year for the non-professional/student categories.

García commented that one of the snapshots included in the award-winning «Lost Time» will be exhibited starting this Friday at the 23 and 12 Gallery in Havana, as part of the personal exhibition CRÓNICAS, which brings together images of moments from the last three years in Cuba.
