En la escuela primaria Renato Guitart Rosell del Consejo Popular Santa Marta radican 4 colegios electorales de la circunscripción 57 que aglutina más de mil electores. Antes de las 9 de la mañana el 20 por ciento de ellos ejerció su derecho al voto.

Michel Torres Pérez, maestro del centro educativo y autoridad electoral en la zona, comentó que el primer elector en votar esta mañana atestiguó el sellado de las urnas como lo requiere la ley electoral de la República.

Jóvenes de entre veinte y treinta años de edad asumen en esta ocasión como pesidentes de colegios y autoridades electorales en la circunscripción 57, enfatizó Torres Pérez, una muestra de la continuidad del proceso revolucinario y la conciencia que tenemos en procurar una Cuba mejor.

Elián González Brotons y Joel Ortega Dopico son los candidatos que representan el Distrito 2 del municipio Cárdenas, territorio que cuenta con 330 colegios electorales y 42 colegios especiales abiertos hasta las 6 de la tarde de ese domingo.
