Sin duda, desde sus mismos inicios fue otro año duro, de pérdidas irreparables, de enorme resistencia; de esos que los cubanos quisiéramos borrar de la memoria por los tantos daños y restricciones causados. Sin embargo, también nos dejó lecciones, enseñanzas que no debemos pasar por alto a la hora de planificar los próximos 365 días.

Será otra etapa difícil, pero se avizora que sea mejor. Así lo advirtió la dirección del país. En el plan de la economía para el nuevo período, se definen objetivos que resultan de vital importancia para enfrentar las problemáticas ya diagnosticadas de la economía nacional, lo cual está concebido en la implementación de un programa de estabilización macro económica.

Claro está que de la noche a la mañana no se obtendrán resultados, pero poco a poco saldremos adelante. Aun cuando, como se ha aclarado, un programa de este tipo no impulsa por sí solo el crecimiento económico, sí sienta las bases para que el resto de las políticas de carácter sectorial, como la transformación productiva o el desarrollo local, sean efectivas y cumplan sus propósitos.

Ello nos convoca a cambiar las maneras de pensar y actuar ante las dificultades. Alcanzar las metas propuestas, como lo dijo el presidente cubano, implica trabajar duro, innovar, aplicar la economía circular, exportar y aumentar la competitividad de nuestras producciones.

Pese a las ásperas circunstancias económicas que atravesamos, no renunciaremos al proyecto social que hemos asumido y que defiende la justicia y la dignidad del ser humano. En ese afán es importante que nos preguntemos, desde ya, cómo podemos contribuir a materializar esas aspiraciones. 

El llamado es a hacer cada uno lo que nos toca y hacerlo bien, con voluntad, consagración y entrega cotidiana. Se impone cambiar todo lo que deba ser cambiado, sin miramientos ni contemplaciones, buscar salidas ante los inconvenientes, transformar.  

Tareas como la atención a las comunidades y a las personas en situación de vulnerabilidad forman parte del necesario perfeccionamiento de la sociedad y de las prioridades para el próximo año. Asimismo, hemos de seguir luchando contra la burocracia, la corrupción, las ilegalidades, la desidia y la inercia, la chapucería y otros males que nos corroen.

Toca, en el año que pronto comienza, mirarnos hacia adentro, de modo crítico, y afrontar las deficiencias que entorpecen el desarrollo, cultivar la participación popular en la toma de decisiones y no dejar que pase un solo día sin sentir que hemos aportado un grano de arena en esa inmensa obra que tenemos por construir.   

La llegada del  2023 representa, pues, otro punto de partida, una nueva oportunidad para recomenzar y trazarnos metas individuales y colectivas. (ALH)
