La Parrillada El Puente in Boca de Camarioca adopts a new economic self-management model

Located in Boca de Camarioca in Cárdenas, La Parrillada El Puente exhibits a new face. The reconstruction work that began in the summer of 2020 was integrated into the Base Business Unit of the new economic management system, belonging to the gastronomic services of Varadero.
Magdiel Orlando Pérez Rodríguez, administrator of the Tourist Corridor Base Business Unit, explained that the inclusion of La Parrillada in the new system has many benefits, thus, in addition to eliminating intermediaries, it also offers a greater monetary reward, since the payment to workers will be made from earnings. Even when epidemiological conditions prevent the restaurant and bar from opening, the cafeteria offers take away food service, always in strict compliance with hygienic-sanitary measures.
The constant washing of hands, the disinfection of surfaces, the permanence of a single person at the counter are the main actions to guarantee the safety of staff and customers, said Ana Laudelia Ruiz Herrera, cashier-clerk of the entity.
The remodeling of this place of obligatory reference for residents and foreigners, due to its location on the Vía Blanca to Varadero, represents a great benefit in the resuscitation of the community.
For Zaida Cabrales Reina, a regular customer, the gastronomic proposals are very pleasant and necessary.
This installation is part of the ordering task, which presupposes raising the quality and efficiency of the service, in order to provide greater dividends to the country´s economy.
